Design: Patricia Urquiola (2007)
“Patricia Urquiola approached the outdoors starting from the theme of woven patterns-reviving and personalizing the concept with a traditional look in mind, but giving it a decisively contemporary look without using too much nostalgic influence. Vienna straw, with its decorative geometric shape, was her element of inspiration. The collection is enriched by a series of tables and service elements with steel structures.”
A family of chairs and sofas featuring a maxi-weave of polyethylene fiber ribbon in white or bronze. There are many typologies: circular and linear sofas, armchairs, small armchairs, chaise longue and ottoman-tables that have fabric covers made of exclusive material in the variations of plain colour, mèlange and multi-coloured designs.
The table frames are in aluminum and the accessory frames are in steel. Both these frames are painted with polyester powder coat paint (white for the tables, black and white for the accessories). The tops are covered with exclusive tiles that reflect the decorative patterns of the fabrics in the collection.
